Dying Light has been developed by Polish game developers, Techland, and is one of their second in the zombie series. This game aims for a survival amid a zombie-infected world, with very few people surviving. You’re to be the protagonist of the video game, a man named Kyle Crane, in one of the last remaining hideouts of human civilization in the city of Harran.
Plot
There are few survivors left in the city of Harran, including you, and you’re to take care of the supplies and safeguard their hideout. During the day, when the zombies are dormant due to the sunlight, tricking them is easy, and you can then sneak into the supplies and weapons. At night however, once the sun sets with no broad daylight, the zombies become acute in senses, and they can cause serious damage to you or the survivors. Save them with all you got, while being cautious to not get infected in the process.
The zombies aren’t easy to be taken down. There are a 100 weapons to make your arsenal, and you can devise newer weapons through the scraps in the city. At night, you only gotta be careful to keep making use of your sense to spot any zombie in the dim moonlight. You’re to jump over buildings and houses and keep off from getting bitten. As game progresses, you’ll gradually develop combat skills, and more lethal weapons to take down your enemy.
Sometimes, you gotta kill the infected ones among the survivors. Also, a 4 player team-up combat is allowed.
Graphics
The graphics to the game is certainly cringe, and has been designed for the best possible vibes to the gameplay and its theme. The dark-maroon night sky goes well into the plot. This game shouldn’t be played for relaxation. Since your character keeps on dying, and you’ll have to wait for minutes before getting into the new game, and until then, all you can do is parkour over the buildings.
